Canvas Without Limits runs a six-week creative programme designed to provide students with an accessible and engaging space to explore art, develop creative skills, and express themselves. The programme culminates in a fundraising art market, where selected student artwork is transformed into products and sold to raise funds for the participating charitable institution.
Week 1 : Introduction & Exploration
Through simple activities, students are encouraged to explore art freely without the pressure of creating a “perfect” piece.
Activities include:
- Introductions and interactive icebreakers
- Simple drawing and mark-making exercises
- Free drawing and painting
Week 2 : Colour & Painting
Students are introduced to colour and a variety of painting techniques, allowing them to experiment with different ways of creating art. The focus is on exploration, sensory engagement, and discovering personal preferences in colour and technique.
Activities include:
- Finger painting
- Sponge painting
- Brush painting
- Colour mixing and experimentation
Week 3 : Patterns & Design
Students explore basic principles of design through shapes, lines, patterns, and textures. These activities encourage experimentation while helping students develop their ability to recognise and create visual patterns.

Week 4 : Our World

Themes include:
- Animals
- People
- Places
- Food
- Nature
- Hobbies and interests
Week 5 : Production & Packaging
Students’ artwork begins its journey from creative expression to fundraising. With the institution’s permission, selected pieces are carefully prepared and transformed into small products that can be shared with the wider community.
Week 6 : Launch & Fundraising
The programme concludes with a student art market at Braeburn, giving the school community an opportunity to celebrate and support the students’ creativity. Products featuring their artwork are sold, with the proceeds donated directly to the participating charitable institution.
The launch includes:
- Displaying students’ original artwork
- Showcasing the finished products
- Selling products to the Braeburn community
- Raising funds for the participating institution
